Overdraft Privilege

Your Overdraft Privilege helps you avoid returned checks by making discretionary courtesy payments to cover insufficient funds up to a preset limit on checks, ACH items, ATM and debit card transactions. If you bring your checking account back to a positive balance within 30 days from the time you first overdraw your account, you can use your Overdraft Privilege the very next day. Each time you overdraw your account and we cover your check or withdrawal, we’ll charge our customary $30 NSF fee. But that’s all you’ll pay. No late fee, interest or returned check fee from the merchant. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.
